About this series
At the age of 14 Shinji Ikari is summoned by his father to the city of Neo Tokyo-3 after several years of separation. There he unwillingly accepts the task of becoming the pilot of a giant biological humanoid by the name EVA01 and protect the world from the enigmatic invaders known as angels. Even though he repeatedly questions why he has accepted this mission from his estranged and cold father, his doing so helps him to gradually accept himself. But why exactly are the angels attacking and what are his father¡¯s true intentions.

Overall : This series is a classic. No collection is complete without it. There
are 9 out right now, and the creator of the manga took a long
break but started back up again recently. Vol. 10 will be coming

Overall : The manga is actually quite a bit different than the anime. You understand the series a bit better and there isn't as much mature content in the sense of what they say and what is featured in it.

Overall : This is my all time favourite manga and I wouldn't have
this first volume any other way.
I think that Sadamoto-san out-did himself with his
writing and plot and it is even better than the anime.

Overall : This toy is great!!!! Revoltech has perhaps the greatest toys ever! Even if you don't 'play' with toys, you still have to get this. It's worth every penny.

Overall : At first I thought I din't need this fig. but when I went to my comic shop and they had one on display.So when I look at it upclose thats when I said i need this fig. So now that I have this one i'm going to have to buy the Asuka Revoltech Fraulein fig.!
