About this series

Kagome is your average schoolgirl living in present day Tokyo. She was brought through an ancient well by a demon to the past. There she finds out that she is the reincarnation of a deceased priestess who guarded the powerful Shikon jewel, which has the power to fufill any ambition of man or demon. The jewel was reborn into her body. After saving the jewel from one of the many demons after the jewel, it shattered, and the Shikon shards were scattered across Japan. Now, Kagome must team up with the half-demon Inu-Yasha, who stole the jewel 50 years ago to be stopped by Kagome's previous form, to retrieve the shards before they fall into the wrong hands.

Product Description

Fifteen-year-old schoolgirl Kagome Higurashi, whose family tends a shrine, falls into an old well one day and literally tumbles into ancient Japanese history. On the other side she meets Inu-Yasha, the dog-like demon (inu means dog in Japanese) who claims she smells just like the woman who fifty years ago pinned him with her arrow to a tree, where he's been all this time.

Unwilling allies at first, the two become closer as their search for the sacred "Jewel of Four Souls" continues.

Overall : Inuysha is one of the best anime ever made. It has a great story line and it keeps you hooked to the every end. If you're a fan of action and romance i highly recommend it! ^-^

Overall : Inuyasha does not stop at episode 166!! I have the collection up to part 9. The last episode in that set is 167. So, there must be more.
