About this series

Sasshi comes home from camp to find his neighborhood being torn down in a fit of urban renewal. His best friend, Ayumi, is moving, and his house is gone. His life has been yank out from under him. After an accident involving one of the four statues that define the neighborhood, Sasshi's world gets yank out from under him. He ends up with Ayumi in a strange version of his neighborhood, and must seek his way home thru a multitude of alternative worlds. Slowly, they also begin to find the truth behind their neighborhood, and why they left in the first place.

Overall : A great anime in the same vein as Excel Saga. Funny, fast paced and well done. It parodies many of the different anime and movie genres that come out of Japan.
